ABOUT CAROL SCHUBERT
After seeing physicians and chiropractors for hip and back pain for years and finding no relief, Carol started practicing yoga in January 2012 on the advice of a friend. Within a year, she was pain free. She successfully completed teacher training at the Yoga on High Teacher Training Institute in 2014 and began teaching gentle yoga that year.
Carol is committed to assisting her students to become more self-aware. Her Gentle Yoga classes are slow-paced and include basic yoga poses, with the emphasis on body alignment rather than flow. She loves teaching older students and beginners. She also has a sense of humor.
Carol is certified as an E-RYT 200 through Yoga Alliance, the national professional association for yoga teachers. E means experienced. (She’s taught more than 1,000 hours.) RYT means Registered Yoga Teacher. Two Hundred means she spent 200 hours in teacher training.
